| Statement: | The volume of methane generated by contemporary art criticism is a major cause of global warming. In order to reduce the size of our carbon footprint and the number of trees that must die for us, I feel I owe it to artists and readers to look hard at the work and write about it incisively in language you do not have to struggle to understand. | |
