| Statement: | Patricia Briggs is a critic and independent curator. Her writings appear in Artforum International, Art Papers, Art on Paper, History of Photography, Public Art Review, Sense and Society and online at mnartists.org. As an independent curator she has curated exhibitions at the Weisman Art Museum and The Soap Factory in Minneapolis, at the Phipps Center for the Arts in Wisconsin, and at the Plain Art Museum in North Dakota. She is Assistant Professor at Minneapolis College of Art and Design where she teaches art history and art criticism. | |
